I  have lived in Sandown since childhood.

As a former Town and Borough Mayor and Chairman of Isle of Wight Council, I have always  played an active part in the community and I am a member of local organisations including Townswomen's Guild, Sandown Regeneration and Community Partnership, Sandown Regatta and I attend the Yaverland Resident's Association.
